After 4,000 years, the Epic of Gilgamesh is finally getting the short cartoon treatment. A nine-minute, hand-drawn eulogy to cuneiform and the animal kingdom, The Epic of Enkidu is currently in production at Ten Pound Toons with support from the Regional Arts & Culture Council. Expected to splash mortality, hubris, and monsters across film festival screens beginning in 2025.
